Land Plant Chloroplast Genomics and Phylogeny
Recently, the complete chloroplast genome of the leptosporangiate fern Adiantum was sequenced in the Wolf lab (See reference below). In collaboration with other researchers on the Green tree of Life Project we are now sequencing several other chloroplast and mitochondrial genomes in an attempt to resolve these phylogenetic relationships among all green plants, inlcuding the green algal lineages.
